Commodore 1551

The Commodore 1551 has a internal power supply, one diskette station with one read / write head and a motherboard. On the motherboard you will find RAM and ROM memory, a MOS 6525 TPI and a MOS 6510 processor. The Commodore 1551 disk drive is a smart device, reading and writing works independent of the connected computer.
The 1551 disk drive is specially designed for the 264 series.
