The Final Cartridge Internal is a BASIC-Toolkit, fast loader/saver for disk (6x) and cassette (10x), and a machine language monitor for the Commodore C64 computer. The Final Cartridge Internal was made by Home & Personal Computers in the Netherlands. The developers are: Wil Sparreboom (code) and Ton Peters (hardware).

The Final Cartridge Internal has a RESET button and an on / off switch.


This example of the Final Cartridge Internal I found inside a Commodore C64 computer, but with the wires disconnected from the motherboard. A retro computer user from Germany (Super Neotendo) contacted me if I had the PCB-layout or schematic of this Final Cartridge Internal. I did not have it, so I decided to draw the schematic and the PCB-layout. After that, Super Neotendo build a replica and sorted out the connections to the motherboard of the Commodore C64 computer. The files for building your own Final Cartridge Internal are available, but if you build it, it will be at your own risk.
